'PLATYS GIALOS BEACH 2' - Attribution: Platis Gialos is a coastal village with many tourist accommodations. Located on the south side of the island, just 4.5 km from Mykonos Town. The beach of Platis Gialos (the longest beach on the island), with the endless golden shores and plenty of facilities attracts lovers of water sports such as water ski or jet ski that are available here. Platis Gialos beach is also great for swimming, sunbathing, boating, fishing, and many more aquatic activities. Visitors will find it nearly impossible to get bored, there is simply so much to do! Photography is also a common activity in Platis Gialos beach and the surrounding Mykonos islands due to the sheer beauty of the sun, the sand, and the sea. Platis Gialos beach is a paradise unlike no other.

North of the area are the preserved towers of the Hellenistic or Roman times and it is also not far from the Giannari, an underground tank with stairs on each side leading to the bottom.
